It’s spring and time to throw open the windows and get ready to welcome summer. So I thought I would share with you a look at my new bedroom style for spring. Whilst spring cleaning the bedroom recently, I decided to refresh my bedroom look with some new bed linen.
When I spotted the Porto White Quilt Cover by Home Republic at Adairs I knew it was perfect for the look I wanted to create.
The quilt cover features beautiful embroidery and hanging tassels. I wanted to keep things light and bright so I have paired it with a cool mint throw and cushions in mint and teal to complement my new look bedroom style for spring. I love the crisp clean look and it’s also perfect to set the mood for the warmer months to come.
I also added a 1400 GSM fiber-filled mattress topper for some extra softness.

Starting with a white base allows you to add colour with cushions and throws to suit the season and your mood. Bring the fragrance of spring indoors with fresh floral arrangements on the bedside table or dresser. Finally, it’s time to pack away any dark heavy bedding and replace it with lightweight sheets and cotton throws.
