Start decluttering…
Sometimes it’s hard knowing where to start when it comes to clearing the clutter from your home. Because of this, I suggest you start small so as not to become overwhelmed with the task ahead. Choose just one shelf or drawer to start with rather than taking on a whole room at once.
First of all, I recommend putting together a few supplies to tackle each of your clutter clearing tasks. Read; Declutter Session Success: Simple First Steps, to find out more. It’s not enough to just move the clutter around, you need to get it out of the house and therefore be mindful of what you allow back into your home.
Maybe you just need help on how to start decluttering or you want ideas for a particular area of the home. In addition there is plenty of helpful information about keeping a clean house, establishing routines, the benefits of using checklists, household tasks to get your home clean and organised as well as home storage ideas.
Under the menu heading, Declutter Your Home, at the top of the page, you will find plenty of tips and ideas to help you start decluttering your home.

Getting organised…
Day to day life becomes much easier to manage when you create a good level of organisation across all aspects of your life. Being organised therefore helps to keep your home and life running smoothly, especially when life gets hectic or the unexpected happens. It may seem hard to get started and know where to begin. Once you take the first step, it will set you on the road to an organised home.
Think of all the areas of your life that could benefit due to some form of organisation. Work, household chores, meal planning, children, school, study, finances, bill paying and so on. As a result of having organising strategies and solutions in place, each day will function more efficiently.
Your home won’t stay organised on its own. You will need to invest time each week to keep your home tidy. You don’t have to do it all yourself though. Rather delegate chores to other household members to help you keep your home clean, tidy and organised.
Under the menu heading, Organise Your Home, at the top of the page, you will find various categories offering plenty of tips and ideas to help you create a beautifully organised home.

Home Styling…
Do you want to create beautiful spaces in your home to enjoy, yet don’t know where to start?
Organised Chic focus’s on creating inviting and usable spaces with easy and affordable styling for the everyday home. You can create an ascetically pleasing home, even if you don’t have a generous budget.
It’s important to set realistic goals for your home that will complement your lifestyle. I’ve discovered over the years as much as I would like to maintain a picture perfect home reminiscent of the pages in Home Beautiful, that my perfectly styled spaces are lucky to see out the day.
Why? Because life is messy and with an active and busy family life and a few pets thrown in for good measure, in my experience it’s near impossible to keep things at that standard for very long. We need to live in our homes, not just keep them for display. So unlike a display home or a home primped and preened for a photo shoot, most of our homes inevitably resemble a home that says, YES! people do actually live here!
Under the menu heading, Style Your Home, at the top of the page, you will find various categories offering a collection of articles, tips and ideas for home styling, in addition to on trend products. Plus inspiration and ideas for outdoor spaces, your next room makeover or renovation.
